Care Instructions 

Our jewellery is made of 925 sterling silver in 18k gold plating (unless stated). Please be aware that gold plating wears out over time, which can reveal the base material underneath. Due to the nature of the metals, tarnishing may also occur over time and the degree of tarnishing is dependant on numerous factors such as the pH level of your skin and the way the jewellery has been looked after. Please note that all metals oxidise naturally with time and will require maintenance.

If taken care properly, the pieces can last a long time. Metals like silver and gold are delicate, requiring care and we therefore recommend following these simple instructions to ensure the longevity of your pieces:

  • Do not store your jewellery in the bathroom or anywhere damp. After wear, we recommend storing your jewellery in a cool dry place on a flat surface in a room with little moisture and away from extreme heat.
  • Remove your jewellery before washing your hands, showering, bathing, exercising, and sleeping.
  • Store your jewellery pieces away from one another to avoid any scratches from friction.
  • Exposure to certain chemicals, including but not limited to cosmetics, perfumes, cleaning products and saltwater, may compromise the integrity of your jewellery. Be sure to apply perfumes, lotions, and hair care products and let it absorb before putting on your jewellery.

  • Please note that all metals oxidise naturally with time and will require maintenance. Cleaning your jewellery regularly will maintain their longevity and remove unwanted chemicals. When cleaning your jewellery, take a gentle, extra care approach to avoid damaging or scratching your pieces. To clean, buff gently with a dry cloth rather than cotton or microfibre as this may strip away the gold plating.

As the chains provided with our necklaces are fine, excessive tugging can result in distorted links before snapping and hair may get tangled in the links if chains are worn to sleep. 

Pearls are also delicate and like the above instructions, they cannot come into contact with any chemicals. Gold and silver cleaning cloths cannot be used to clean and polish pearls. Pearls should also be stored in an environment away from extreme temperatures.

In an unlikely event of any faulty goods, please contact us with a photo and proof of purchase details. To ensure you are eligible for returns/exchanges, please refer to our returns policy. Items will be replaced at our discretion. At this point, we do not offer a repair service. Customers are responsible for the shipping costs associated with the goods return. We will not be held responsible for damaged or lost goods in return of the shipment, therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service.
